After each engraving session, it's necessary to clean the debris or sawdust on the chuck jaws. Use a brush for cleaning or utilize blowing tools to remove the debris or sawdust. This prevents the accumulation of too much debris or sawdust, which can cause the chuck jaws to jam or fail to grip the engraving material.
Keep the components dry to prevent rusting. If possible, apply some rust remover to prevent rusting when there is water contact with the components.
